Job summary

IES Utilities Group is actively seeking an experienced HGV and Excavator Operator to support the Power Networks team across the ENW region. You will operate excavators on site and transport your machine between locations using a beavertail vehicle, contributing to pole replacements, transformer installations and other civil works.

We value proven experience in power distribution, a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and operator certification (NPORS/CPCS).

Qualifications

• Proven experience on power/utility projects.
• HGV Class 2 licence and excavator operation required.
• Valid Driver CPC and CSCS/CSR card.
• EUSR registration is preferred.
• First Aid at Work certification welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators on utility projects.
• Carry out excavations for pole replacements and transformers.
• Transport machines between sites using a beavertail vehicle.
• Perform daily plant checks and report defects.
• Comply with RAMS, permits and site safety rules.
