Job summary

Xylem Water Solutions UK Ltd in Grantham is seeking a skilled HGV Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our operations team. You will operate Class 2 vehicles, carry out deliveries and collections of pumping equipment, and use HIAB cranes to load and unload goods while maintaining vehicle checks and documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold a UK HGV Class 2 licence, HIAB certification, and proven experience in plant hire, utilities, or construction.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 2 driving licence required.
• Valid HIAB licence/certification with experience preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role within plant hire/utilities/construction.
• Good knowledge of load securing, manual handling and road safety regulations.
• Flexible, reliable team player with strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles safely and professionally.
• Carry out deliveries and collections of pumping equipment across customer sites.
• Use HIAB/crane equipment to load and unload goods safely.
• Perform vehicle checks, routine maintenance and complete documentation.
• Support the depot team with logistics and stock movement when required.
