Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Transport Training Specialist to ensure drivers meet high training standards and comply with statutory and operational requirements. You will work with the transport team to coach, monitor performance, and provide retraining where needed.

You will deliver driver inductions, refresher training and mode-specific training, while maintaining accurate training records and supporting post-incident retraining.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work early, late and night shifts as required.
• Hold a UK Driver Accessor Certificate and proven experience within the field.
• Minimum 3 years of HGV driving experience, across varied HGV vehicles.
• Experience conducting driver assessments.
• Valid Class 2 HGV licence, digital tachograph card & In Date CPC Card.
• Good understanding of HGV mechanics and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Working Time Directive.
• Confident with driver checks, reporting and record keeping.
• Strong communication skills to engage & support drivers in learning and improving.
