Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking an enthusiastic Driver for Norton Bottoms Quarry to deliver aggregates and concrete across Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. Full training will be provided; safety and efficiency are essential as you support a busy distribution network.

You will hold a valid Class C licence with Driver CPC and have experience with HGV driving; a knowledge of the local area is advantageous. A flexible approach to hours, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of HGV driving and a valid Class C licence with Driver CPC.
• Knowledge of the local area and delivery experience of aggregates/concrete preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Driving safely and efficiently.
• Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and internal/external customers.
• Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimise delivery schedules and routes.
• Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
