Job Title: HGV Driver Part-Time

Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV Part-Time Drivers for the Plymouth site, working weekends. Our onsite team across the country is looking for drivers to start immediately.

As an HGV Weekend Driver, after completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The work involves manual handling, and shifts are offered one week in advance.

We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit your availability. Flexibility is preferred, especially for weekend work or shifts in the afternoon into the evening or night.

To qualify, you should meet the following requirements:

1. Hold your license for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. A clean license is preferred, as exceeding 5 points may end your assignment.
2. Have a minimum of 180 days of driving experience within the last 2 years, in the relevant category for commercial driving.
3. Have no more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
4. Check your Digi tacho before assessment, as errors may lead to failure.
5. Be fully comfortable with manual entries on the Digi tacho.
6. Endorsements of DD, DR, IN, or CD are not accepted.
7. Be able to pass a CRB security check following registration.
