Ipsum, based in the UK, is seeking an HGV Driver & Operator to maintain drainage systems and support essential services. You will operate jetting units, respond to call-outs, and perform CCTV surveys as part of a safety-focused team.

The role offers a full-time contract, night and weekend shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including holidays, pension, and health support. You will report to the operations team and work both independently and with colleagues to deliver reliable drainage

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• High-pressure water jetting certification.
• Confined space entry certification.
• Experience in drainage maintenance and jetting operations.
• Familiarity with CCTV drainage survey equipment and software.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in utility operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV jetting units to carry out drainage cleaning and maintenance.
• Responding to emergency call-outs and planned maintenance schedules.
• Conducting CCTV surveys to assess drainage conditions.
• Liaising with clients and internal teams to report findings and recommend solutions.
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
