Job summary

Freightliner is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Nights) to join our London Gateway team. You will transport containers in a timely manner, upholding health and safety as the top priority.

This permanent, full‑time role offers 50 hours per week (Mon–Fri with overtime and weekend work available), a competitive benefits package, and training opportunities as part of our award‑winning safety culture.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Class 1 UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Full CPC qualification (DQC card).
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Proven experience transporting containers.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

The role

With a fleet of top spec, modern luxury vehicles and recent investment in technology we are looking for the right individual to join our team in London Gateway.

As an HGV Driver you will be responsible for transporting containers in a timely manner, all while sharing our culture and belief of health and safety being the number one priority.

About you

• Current and valid Class 1 UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points).
• Full CPC qualification (DQC card)
• Minimum 1 year’s driving experience
• Proven experience of transporting containers
• Flexibility with working hours
• Good comprehension of written and spoken English
• Strong understanding of health and safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe approach in all tasks
