Job Role: HGV Driver

Location: Lurgan

The contracted hours for this role are: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm, Saturday 8.30am – 12.30pm (Rota Basis)

The Job

• An experienced HGV Driver (Class ‘C’) with a safe record who takes pride in their driving ability and carries out their responsibilities.
• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers and colleagues.
• We sell building materials so there will be an element of manual handling. Reasonable adjustments can be made if you need them.
• Assemble orders for delivery.
• Assist with loading company delivery vehicles.
• Assisting with our branch network and suppliers.
• General housekeeping.
• Any other duties as requested by Manager / Supervisor.

You

Our customers expect excellent service, but they also appreciate a friendly rapport. You should be a team player who can collaborate effectively, be resourceful, and be enthusiastic. A full UK driving licence is essential. While previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial, full training will be provided. Relevant product knowledge or a genuine interest in Construction and DIY is advantageous.
