Job summary

TPA Portable Roadways, part of Vp plc, is expanding its driver team to support growth. The role involves driving Class 1 or 2 vehicles, installing temporary roadways, and collaborating with a Portable Roadway Operative. Training is provided, with a modern fleet and comprehensive PPE and welfare facilities.

Working away Monday–Friday, you will gain responsibility, variety, and development opportunities beyond driving alone. Competitive salary and a strong OTE are offered.

Qualifications

• HGV licence and driving experience required or preferred.
• Ability to operate in a hands-on installation/deployment role.
• Willingness to work away from home Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, install, and recover equipment and hire fleet.
• Inspect, maintain and clean vehicles, trailers, cranes, and all equipment.
• Carry out daily risk assessments and checks before operations.
• Coordinate with customers, Stock Controller, and Logistics on schedules and site plans.
• Provide customer familiarisation of equipment as needed.
• Confirm daily panel movements and process dispatches/collections.
