Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an HGV Driver based near Sherborne. You will prepare and load deliveries, plan daily routes and safely deliver products to customer locations using a vehicle-mounted forklift. The role includes yard duties when not driving, with routine multi‑drop deliveries and base returns daily.

Working hours are 45 per week, Monday to Friday with one in four Saturdays. The position offers an attractive salary and standard benefits in a family‑run setting.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence (Class 2 or Class 1)
• Valid Driver CPC
• Vehicle-mounted forklift training/qualification
• Safety-conscious approach to driving and loading
• Reliable, adaptable team player with good time management

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient delivery routes with Logistics Manager
• Carry out multi‑drop deliveries and load vehicles safely
• Unload pallets using a vehicle-mounted forklift
• Deliver to customer locations and provide professional service
• Support yard operations and site maintenance as needed
• Carry out vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
