Qualifications

• Full UK Heavy Goods Vehicle License required.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) within 6 months.
• Considerable knowledge of road use regulations for driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV and other vehicles including refuse collection vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and complete relevant documentation.
• Assist in collection of various types of waste and ensure safe working practices.

Skills

Full UK Heavy Goods Vehicle License

Driver CPC within 6 months

Knowledge of road use regulations

Experience driving over 3.5 tonne

Experience of HGV driving over 7.5 tonne

Ability to deal with customers politely

Ability to lift and carry frequently

Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Ability for physical duties

Experience in multi-drop collections
