Job summary

Enveco is seeking a suitable and reliable Driver/Loader to join the trade waste team in Blackpool. You will drive HGV and perform waste and recycling collections across Blackpool and surrounding areas, supporting the team.

The role combines driving, loading, basic vehicle maintenance, and documentation. You’ll work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a permanent contract and a salary of £30,971 per annum.

Qualifications

• Holders of a valid UK HGV licence with a valid Driver CPC.
• Good knowledge of road transport regulations and safety requirements.
• Proven experience driving vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and performing multi-drop deliveries.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation for driving duties and comply with transport regulations.
• Carry out vehicle and ancillary equipment safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle cab and exterior using cleaning tools.
• Maintain regular contact with administration and supervisors on work progress.
• Complete daily and weekly documents, timesheets and work records.
• Assist in waste collection, including multi-drop deliveries and litter removal.
• Operate trailers and towed equipment as required.
• Act as an ambassador for the service and uphold safety standards.
