Job summary

Veolia ES (UK) Limited in Dover is hiring a HGV Driver/Loader for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30 at Dover Depot. Pay: £36,917.24.

You will drive to planned collection locations, load recycling and domestic waste, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain safe, compliant operations. You will join a team delivering reliable waste services to the local community and contribute to Veolia's environmental commitments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV driving licence.
• Must hold up-to-date CPC/DIGI card.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong time management skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure the work environment is safe and clean at all times.
• Work closely with the team to ensure all-round information is completed daily from onboard service.
• Ensure Veolia complies with contractual obligations (e.g. spillages are cleaned up).
