Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting for a Driver in the Drainage/Depot Network located at Bamber Bridge, Preston. You will operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and support a two‑person team. Full training will be provided.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with weekly pay and enhanced overtime rates. A valid HGV Class 2 licence is required (ideally ≤6 points); CPC and CSCS are desirable. Salary up to £17 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required; penalty points ideally 6 or less.
• A CPC qualification is desirable.
• CSCS would be advantageous and can be obtained if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle.
• Liaise with customers to coordinate deliveries and service calls.
• Update electronic records and job sheets.
• Report safety issues promptly.
• Conduct vehicle and jetting equipment checks and basic maintenance.
