Job summary

DHL is hiring a Waste and Recycling vehicle driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. The role operates on a day shift 06:00–18:00 with a 4on/4off pattern, handling hazardous waste collection from third parties and executing documentation and safe driving across multiple vehicle types including 18T and RoRo.

You will represent DHL professionally to customers and follow all policies. The driver will perform routine vehicle checks, maintain load security within weight limits, and coordinate

• Effective delivery and collections communications
• Operating different vehicle types, to include 18T, Skip Lorry, RoRo, 3.5T Luton vehicle, RCV(Dust Cart)
• Collection and replenishment of bins
• Complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
• Representing DHL in a professional manner to customers
• To complete any adhoc requests from Manager within the yard environment as required
• Maintain regular contact with Shift Manager
• To carry out driver run sheet in full
• To ensure Goods In Waste Away areas are clean after each visit
• Secure loads effectively and ensure loads are within the weight limits
• Complete routine vehicle checks
• Comply with appropriate working time legislation
• Dynamic risk assessment at delivery/collection locations
• To ensure balers are emptied as required
• Follow companies reporting procedure

DAY SHIFT ONLY: 06:00-18:00 4on/4off

Pay: £17.30 per hour - OVERTIME £25.95/h

General Responsibilities

• Working within a physically demanding environment
