Andrews Sykes in Nottingham is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join the East Midlands team, delivering and collecting equipment to customer sites while upholding the company’s service standards. You will perform daily vehicle checks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support depot operations, working with colleagues to keep deliveries on schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV driving licence.
• Previous experience within a similar driving role.
• Plant hire industry experience (preferred).
• ALLMI and/or ADR qualifications (desirable).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A proactive, highly motivated attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting equipment safely and professionally.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
• Representing Andrews Sykes positively when interacting with customers.
• Supporting depot operations and assisting colleagues where required.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on schedule.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
