Overview

Pay Rates

All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately.

• Monday to Sunday
• Standard Days: £18.72 per hour
• Start between 0200-0400: £19.69 per hour
• Start between 04:01-05:00: £19.23 per hour
• Start between 05:01-05:30: £18.98 per hour
• Finish between 20:00-21:39: £19.45 per hour
• Finish between 21:40-01:59: £20.26 per hour
• If 3 hours completed between 23:00-05:00: £21.63 per hour

Responsibilities

You’ll be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail distribution centres, operating from a well-organised depot in Newcastle, using clean, well-maintained vehicles. There is some interaction involved for loading and unloading, however full training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one. We have assessments available asap for those looking to start immediately.

Shifts

Royal Mail have immediate starts available for HGV Class 2 drivers after a flexible shift pattern able to cover day and night shifts. Shifts are booked a week in advance to help you manage your work life balance.
