Job summary

Travis Perkins is hiring a HGV Driver - Class 2 (Regional) to cover branches in Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham. No overnights or evenings, offering a stable full-time role with a competitive salary and bonus potential. You’ll deliver building materials, load HIAB safely, and manage around 14 drops per day while representing the company professionally on the road.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence and up-to-date CPC records.
• Minimum 12 months Cat B licence experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from branches to local customers.
• Load HIAB and ensure everything is safely secured and compliant with regulations.
• Make around 14 drops per day and reload at the branch as required.
• Represent the company professionally while on the road.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who you are

• Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
