HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Builders Merchants (via Pertemps)

Location: West London – Colville Road, W3

Salary: £37,000 – £39,500 (DOE)

Hours: 44.5 hours/week

• Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
• Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:00

Position Overview

We are looking for a confident, reliable, and professional HGV Class 2 Driver with a valid HIAB license to join a busy team based in West London. In this customer-facing role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of construction and building materials, while also playing a key role in upholding the company’s values and service excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road safety and company regulations
• Use the HIAB crane efficiently for secure loading and unloading
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Handle goods with care, reducing risk of damage or loss
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
• Identify and report any potential sales opportunities
• Report health and safety concerns promptly to management
• Represent the company with a professional and positive attitude

What We’re Looking For:

• HGV Class 2 Licence (essential)
• HIAB Licence (essential)
• Experience in the builders merchants or construction supply sector (essential)
• A positive, friendly attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
