About the role

Join us as an HGV Class 2 Driver and be the face of Greggs on the road. Ensure timely delivery of our tasty products to our shops. You'll operate a modern fleet of refrigerated HGVs equipped with the latest technology and safety features, such as telematics and vehicle cameras. This role involves physical work, including multi-drop deliveries of chilled, frozen, and ambient goods, with safety checks and training in key control. Some deliveries will be made when shops are closed. Greggs leads in fleet technology and driver training, providing comprehensive training including annual CPC, Tachograph, DVSA, Slow Manoeuvre, and The Highway Code. Greggs also covers ongoing costs like DCPC, driver medicals, and Tachograph cards.

About you

Ideal candidates will have experience as a multi-drop HGV Class 2 Driver in the food industry and possess:

• A valid HGV Category C/Class 2 license for at least 1 year (max 6 penalty points)
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and training
• Digital Tachograph card
• Excellent knowledge of drivers' hours regulations
• Availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• Supportive of an inclusive culture
