Travis Perkins is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver for the St Albans branch in Hertfordshire. Enjoy daytime shifts with no evenings or overnights, a full-time role and opportunities to develop your career.

You will deliver building materials to local customers, load HIAB, secure loads, and complete around 14 drops per day. We offer a competitive salary with a bonus potential of up to £2,700 per year, funded CPC training, staff discounts, pension options, and generous holiday with pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving licence with CPC records up-to-date.
• HIAB experience preferred or training provided by the company.

Responsabilités

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, approx. 14 drops per day.
• Load HIAB and ensure loads are secure and compliant before departure.
• Represent Travis Perkins professionally on the road.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who you are

• Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
