Job summary

CCF, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is hiring a Class 2 HGV Driver in Southampton to deliver plasterboard and insulation between branches. You will use a MOFFETT forklift and receive training to operate it safely.

The role offers sociable Monday–Friday hours, a modern fleet, and benefits including driver and branch bonuses, pension, and uniform provided. A CPC, up-to-date licences, and HGV experience are required with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Category C driving licence, CPC records, and recent HGV experience are required.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and keeping regular customers satisfied.
• Safety is a priority and tasks must be performed securely.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and move plasterboard/insulation between branches.
• Load/unload safely using MOFFETT forklift (training provided).
• Complete multi-drop routes and return to branch for reloads.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be driving our trucks, moving plasterboard and insulation from our branches to customers, using a MOFFETT forklift to load and unload safely and efficiently. Don’t worry if you don’t have a MOFFETT license – we’ll train you! It’s a multi-drop role, so you’ll be back to the branch at least once to reload before hitting the road again.
