Job summary

Brakes, a leading UK food business and part of Sysco, is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products across the local region. You will ensure deliveries meet safety and hygiene standards while maintaining accurate records and building strong customer relationships.

The role requires a Class 2 license with CPC, flexibility for shift work, and a proactive approach to service. Overtime is paid for Saturdays and a pension, holidays and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• Eye for detail.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely, on time and in line with food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records, complete load plans and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
