Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is hiring a HGV Class 2 Driver in Newark to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods across the local region. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and maintain high hygiene standards while handling load plans and building strong customer relationships.

The role requires CPC-certified drivers with a proactive mindset, excellent service, attention to detail and the flexibility to work in a shift system.

Qualifications

• A qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards and a proactive approach to your work, you have what it takes to excel.
• A commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• An eye for detail.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• The ability to follow processes and procedures.
• The flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

2 shift patterns currently available starting between 04:00 - 06:30 (45 hr pw)

• Tuesday - Saturday OR
• Monday - Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays (with rest day during the week)

A key member of our driving team, you’ll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region. You’ll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues and customers.
