Job summary

Keyline is seeking a Class 2 HGV driver in Milton Keynes to move building materials and civils between branches and customers. Training for a HIAB is funded if you don’t have the licence yet, with an emphasis on loading safety and compliance.

You will perform local multi-drop deliveries, keep your vehicle safe and tidy, and engage with customers to build strong relationships. The role offers weekday hours, with a focus on safe, professional service.

Qualifications

• Category C Class 2 driving licence is required.
• CPC (DQC Card) must be up to date.
• Recent HGV driving experience is preferred.
• Experience with a lorry loader/crane is a plus but not essential.
• Comfortable talking with customers and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Move stock (civils, heavy building materials, drainage solutions) between branches and customers, safely and professionally.
• Load HIAB and ensure the load is safe, legal, and balanced; training funded if needed.
• Perform vehicle checks before driving and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Handle local multi-drop deliveries with reloads at the branch as needed.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be moving stock like civils, heavy building materials, and drainage solutions from our branches to customers, all while keeping it safe and professional. You’ll load up your vehicle with a HIAB (lorry-mounted crane)—don’t have the licence yet? No problem! We’ll fully fund your training to get you up to speed. You’ll make sure your vehicle’s loaded right, safe, and legal, plus do vehicle checks before hitting the road. Expect plenty of local multi-drop deliveries, with regular returns to the branch to reload. You’ll also pitch in with loading, unloading, and keeping your vehicle clean and tidy. Above all, safety comes first, and you’ll make sure our standards never slip.

Who you are

• You’ve got a Category C Class 2 driving licence

• Your CPC (DQC Card) is up to date

• You’ve got recent HGV driving experience (if you've worked with a lorry loader/crane, even better, but not a deal-breaker)

• You’re comfortable chatting with customers and building solid relationships

• You take safety seriously and always work in a professional and safe way

• You’re passionate about delivering for customers
