Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV multi-drop driver is desirable.
• Experience in dray work is desirable.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence.

Job description

Pay Rate: £36,767.12

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday (05:00 - 07:00), 4 compulsory Saturdays

Location: Suffolk, IP1 5NX

About the Role

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a HGV Class 2 Dray person to play a vital role in our distribution service.

Responsibilities

1. Follow a Monday - Friday shift pattern, with some Saturdays required, starting at 5am.
2. Handle alcoholic goods safely and responsibly.
3. Deliver multiple drops per day to Pubs, Restaurants, and Hotels, up to 20 drops daily.
4. Perform manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily.
5. Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
6. Comply with health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.

Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from candidates with the following experience, but encourage all to apply based on potential:

• Valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card – Essential.
• Experience as an HGV multi-drop driver – Desirable.
• Experience in dray work – Desirable.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence – Essential.
