Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco UK, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products across the local region. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and uphold top food hygiene standards while maintaining records and load plans.

Strong communication and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential. This role involves shift work with Monday–Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, and offers pension, generous holiday, family-friendly flexibility and ongoing

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers in the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, on time and to high food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records, complete load plans and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

Job description

A key member of our driving team, you'll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region. You'll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues and customers.
