Job summary

Travis Perkins Trading Company Limited is seeking a dependable HGV Driver (Class 2) in Eastleigh to deliver building materials from the branch to local customers. You will load the HIAB, ensure loads are secure and compliant, and complete around 14 daily drops before returning to the branch.

This full-time role includes HIAB training if needed, a strong emphasis on safety, and ongoing development opportunities within the Travis Perkins Group.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving license and 12+ months' Category B experience.
• Up-to-date CPC records are required.
• Customer-focused with a safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers.
• Load the HIAB, ensure loads are properly packed and compliant with regulations.
• Make around 14 drops per day and reload at the branch as needed.

What will you be doing?

You'll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything's safe and sound. You'll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it's all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you'll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who you are

• Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
