Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Coventry South to deliver building materials to local customers. You will load the HIAB, ensure everything is packed correctly and legally, and complete around 14 daily drops before returning to the branch.

This full-time role offers funded CPC/H IAB training, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a 20% staff discount across the group. A competitive salary includes a potential annual bonus of £2,700 and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence required with 12+ months Category B experience.
• Up-to-date CPC records; HIAB training funded if not held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from branch to local customers, ensuring safety and legality.
• Load HIAB, verify proper packing and secure loading, and complete around 14 drops per day.
• Return to branch to reload and maintain professional on-road presence.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything’s safe and sound. You’ll load up your vehicle with the HIAB, double-check it’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road. As our face on the road, you’ll keep it professional while making around 14 drops a day, then head back to the branch to reload when needed.

Who You Are

• Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and have held a Category B license for 12+ months.
• HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
• Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
