- Checks documents for correctness and reports anomalies.
- Maintains vehicle availability and performs regular checks.
Job Description
Documentation:
- Receives documents, materials, and oral instructions from supervisor or expedition planner.
- Checks documents for the correctness of required data for the drive.
- Checks documents for customer ambiguities and reports anomalies to the expedition planner or manager.
- Submits documents and materials (bills, return forms, trip reports, vehicle registration, etc.) to the expedition planner or manager.
Transport:
- Loads the truck or supervises the loading process according to the data mentioned in the documents, overseeing warehouse staff if necessary.
- Checks cargo packing for quality and reports abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Transports goods by truck, combination, or trailer, considering the specific properties of the trucks (such as payload, weight, etc.) and local traffic conditions.
- Delivers goods within specified times to domestic and international customers.
- Unloads the truck or supervises unloading at designated locations, possibly using equipment like a forklift, and considers customer requirements.
- Handles returns from customers and other business sites.
- Unloads raw materials, packaging, pallets, containers, and returns to appropriate locations.
Maintenance:
- Ensures vehicle availability at all times by planning regular maintenance and reporting serious issues.
- Checks engine operation and truck's technical condition (oil levels, lights, etc.).
- Performs daily cleaning, maintenance, and fuel consumption checks, ensuring trucks are clean and ready for loading.
- Detects and repairs minor faults; coordinates with the garage through the supervisor if necessary.
Safety and Regulations:
- Adheres to all safety and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of goods, traffic, and personnel.
- Maintains and files trip reports, including fuel usage, delivery times, visits, and equipment damage.
- Handles tachograph discs and other regulatory equipment according to regulations, including importing digital tachograph cards.
