Calling all HGV Class 1 Drivers!

We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver to join our Transport team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will deliver an on-time performance for our customers, ensuring that all relevant documents are completed and presented in a professional manner.

We believe the successful HGV Driver should have the following skills:

1. Full HGV Licence (C+E)
2. CPC card min of 28hrs covered (essential)
3. You must have no more than 6 points on your licence

The key tasks for the HGV Driver role are:

1. Ensure all paperwork/PDA’s have clear in and out times so as to ensure full costs are recovered
2. Ensure all paperwork is in a respectable condition both to customers and on return to depot
3. Ensure daily checks of vehicles & trailers are carried out and any defects are reported straight away
4. Deliver on-time performance, including updating journey details on PDA
5. Full understanding of and compliance with tachograph and working time directive regulations
6. Runsheets are filled out correctly and with all expenses attached
7. Flexible approach to the job in hand, be proactive don’t wait to be asked
