Job description

Urgent need for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for Gist, delivering M&S food.

ADR Network, one of the UK’s leading logistics recruitment specialists, has an urgent and ongoing requirement for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to support Gist, Marks & Spencer.

As a trusted nationwide logistics partner to Gist, we have been called upon to provide various levels of driver hours, offering comprehensive support across their depot network. We are immediately seeking reliable, professional drivers to help meet a critical demand.

Pay Rates:

• Days: From £16.58 per hour
• Nights: From £19.89 per hour
• Weekends: Up to £21.56 per hour
• Overtime after 8.5 hours daily is between £18.23 - £19.89
• Rates increase after 6 months to £18.00 - £26.99
• All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately

We are primarily looking for drivers to start between midnight - 04.30 and 14.30 – 22.00.Shift lengths are typically 8-10 hours, so talk to us about what works for you.

You’ll transport fresh, ambient, and frozen goods toMarks and Spencer stores, beginning each shift from a well-organised depot with clean, well-maintained vehicles. Deliveries are made using cages and tail lifts for ease. Full training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and work safely from day one.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 18 months of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
