Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license for at least 1 year (max 6 penalty points).

About the role

Join us as an HGV Class 1 Driver and be the face of Greggs on the road, delivering our products to stores.

You will drive modern refrigerated HGVs equipped with the latest safety technology, perform multi-drop deliveries of chilled, frozen, and ambient goods, and conduct safety checks. Training will be provided in key control, with some deliveries made when shops are closed.

Greggs prioritizes fleet safety and compliance, offering comprehensive training including annual CPC, Tachograph, DVSA, Slow Manoeuvre, and The Highway Code. We also cover costs for CPC, medicals, and Tachograph renewals.

About you

Preferred experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver in the food industry. You should have:

• A valid HGV Category C+E/Class 1 license for at least 1 year (max 6 penalty points)
• Up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
• Knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
• Availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• An inclusive attitude valuing diversity
