As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder, requires a HGV Driver working from their Central Distribution Depot in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

HGV Driver responsibilities will include:

• Being presentable, professional, reliable, and honest
• Adhering to working time regulations
• Performing pre-use vehicle inspection checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring goods are safely secured
• Maintaining vehicles in good condition
• Working hours typically from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Occasional nights out with a night out allowance

The Candidate:

• Must have a valid Class 1 (category C+E) licence
• Hold a CPC card and Digi Tachograph card
• Full understanding of WTD legislation
• Previous experience with multi-drop steel deliveries
• Good command of the English language
