Job summary

LKQ Europe is seeking an experienced HGV driver to support our night distribution operations across the UK. You will drive between LKQ Euro Car Parts Distribution Centers and branches, unloading parts and ensuring accurate, compliant deliveries during night shifts.

The role requires a valid UK licence (Class 1 or 2), a strong understanding of transport regulations, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) Licence.
• Good understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work night shifts and independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles safely and legally in accordance with UK legislation and company policies.
• Complete trucking and delivery routes between distribution centers and branches, primarily during night shifts.
• Safely unload cages, pallets, totes and automotive parts at branch locations.
• Ensure deliveries are checked and placed in designated branch receiving areas.
• Collect returns, empty cages and pallets where required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Comply with Drivers Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and electronic records.
• Report delays, defects, accidents, incidents and security concerns promptly.
• Work independently during out-of-hours branch deliveries while maintaining communication with the transport team.

To safely transport, deliver, and unload automotive parts and products between LKQ Euro Car Parts Distribution Centers and branch locations, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role primarily supports the company's night distribution operation and requires a high degree of self-management and responsibility.

Working Hours can be Sunday - Friday. Start times vary from 19:00 until 04:00 the next morning.
