Job summary

LKQ Europe is seeking a responsible HGV driver to transport, deliver and unload automotive parts between LKQ Euro Car Parts distribution centers and branches in the UK. The role focuses on night shifts with start times from 19:00 to 04:00, requiring strong self-management and punctuality to ensure accurate deliveries.

The successful candidate will operate safely under UK regulations, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain records, while contributing to excellent customer service and timely

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence.
• Good understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work night shifts and independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles safely and legally.
• Complete trucking routes between distribution centers and branches, mainly at night.
• Safely unload cages, pallets, totes and automotive parts at branch locations.
• Ensure deliveries are checked and placed in receiving areas.
• Collect returns, empty cages and pallets as required.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with Drivers Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and electronic records.
• Report delays, defects, accidents, incidents and security concerns promptly.
• Work independently during out-of-hours branch deliveries while maintaining communication with the transport team.

To safely transport, deliver, and unload automotive parts and products between LKQ Euro Car Parts Distribution Centers and branch locations, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role primarily supports the company's night distribution operation and requires a high degree of self-management and responsibility.

Working Hours can be Sunday - Friday. Start times vary from 19:00 until 04:00 the next morning.

Location: Dordon, Tamworth (LKQ Euro Car Parts Distribution Centre)
