Job description

Main purpose of the job is to deliver and collect aggregates allocated by Logistics Office team in safe and efficient manner. Adhere to Company Driver Handbook, Policies and Procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• The completion of daily vehicle checks and correct defect reporting, to ensure we always remain legal and compliant.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Tachograph rules and regulations.
• Ensuring safe and timely deliveries to our customers.
• Be a good ambassador for the Company both on the road and on site.
• Tipping and bagged aggregate deliveries.

Person specification and required skills:

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold C+E Licence.
• Reliable, able to prioritise workload.
• Tipping experience is preferrable, but not essential.
• Have methodical approach.
• A professional, positive and flexible attitude at all times.
• This role requires the use of a tablet to complete daily walk round submissions and other associated software to complete deliveries.

Working times/hours:

10 hours per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 0600-1800. This role will require minimum 3 nights out per week.
