Job description

What will I be doing?

The role involves driving our roll-on roll-off vehicle, delivering a high standard of service, and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

Providing excellent customer service, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site to maximize recovery of materials they are depositing, which will involve:

1. Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
2. Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
3. Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
4. Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties regarding the health, safety, and welfare of its employees and others affected by its actions or omissions.
5. Cooperating with SUEZ and other employees to comply with the site permit, all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
6. Performing any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will join the current site team to ensure operations exceed the required standards.

What you will need is:

• LGV Class 2 license & CPC card.
• A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
• A flexible approach to work, as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
