South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership is recruiting experienced HGV Category C Drivers to join the Environmental Services team on a 6-month contract, with an early start subject to pre-employment checks. The role combines driving and loading duties, outdoors, in a frontline service for residents.

Salary starts from £31,686 per annum, with a market supplement of £4,412 per annum, and includes full induction and training plus generous terms with LGPS pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Hold a Category C driving licence.
• Have previous HGV driving experience.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Can use electronic in-cab systems to record work activities.
• Are committed to working safely and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive and load duties as part of the weekly route.
• Support the rollout of the new wheeled bin and food waste service.
• Complete required training and pre-employment checks.

Join South Holland District Council and play a key role in delivering our new wheeled bin and food waste collection service.

We are looking for experienced HGV Category C Drivers to join our Environmental Services team on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support the rollout of a major service improvement that will benefit communities across the district.

This varied role combines both driving and loading duties, making it ideal for people who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and providing an essential frontline service to residents. Full training will be provided as part of our induction programme.

An early start date is available, subject to the successful completion of pre-employment checks, including right to work verification.
