South Holland District Council is recruiting experienced HGV Category C Drivers to join the Environmental Services team for an initial 6-month contract. The role blends driving and loading duties, outdoors, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• HGV driving experience is required.
• Category C driving licence is mandatory.
• Driver CPC qualification is mandatory.
• Must be able to use in-cab systems to record work activities.

Responsibilities

• Drive and load wheeled bins as part of the collection service.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service in a frontline role.
• Work outdoors as part of a team on a 37-hour week contract.
• Complete pre-employment checks and ensure safe operations.
