DPD Group in Sittingbourne is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our national transport team, operating a modern fleet to keep the country moving with efficient bulk collections and deliveries.

We value a safety-first mindset, a valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and at least 6 months of Class 1 experience. Expect early starts and a driver-focused, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months' experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

What You Bring
