Job Purpose

The role of the HGV Driver is to:

• Support the business by carrying out driving duties and assist the workshops with general cleaning duties.

Department/Business/Location:

Hamble Truck Centre

Reports To

Hamble Branch Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• At the request of the service team, carry out driving jobs as and when required.
• Carry out a pre-delivery quality check and ensure the vehicle meets customer expectations.
• Handover vehicles at the point of delivery.
• Ensure all documentation is accurately completed in line with business standards.
• Maintain safe working practices and standards, including driving all vehicles with due care and attention for all customers, road users, and pedestrians.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Smart appearance.
• Competency in numeracy and literacy.

Desirable

• Advanced motoring qualification.

Experience

• Previous HGV class 1 experience (desirable).
• ADR license (desirable).

Hours

Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, flexible.
