Job Title: Class 1 Drivers

Location: Great Bear Lutterworth MP1

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Shift and Salary

Shift: Monday-Friday, starting from 06:00am (please note there is a 2-hour start window).

Salary: £42,298 per annum

Overtime: £22.19 per hour after 55 hours worked across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle checks according to company procedures.
• Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience is essential.
• Full C+E entitlement, CPC, and Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your driving license, with no DD/DR convictions.
• Understanding of and ability to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to understand and carry out vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects.
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Note: You may come into contact with alcohol during your duties.
