Job summary

Sure Start Staff are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Drivers to join a leading transport and logistics company based in Irlam. Early morning, day and night shifts available, with ongoing full-time work and overtime opportunities across the UK.

Deliveries of white goods to retail stores, daily vehicle checks, and a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance are required. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C) or 7.5T (C1) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card holder preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering white goods to retail stores across the UK.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with road transport legislation.

Shift Patterns

• Early starts from 5:00am

Your Duties

• Delivering white goods to retail stores across the UK
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately
• Ensuring compliance with all road transport legislation

What You'll Need

• Valid Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (Category C) or 7.5T (Category C1) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations
• A professional and reliable attitude
• Previous multi-drop or retail delivery experience is desirable but not essential
