Job Title: HGV Driver

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV Drivers for the Gloucester site. If you're seeking work, our onsite team across the country is looking for drivers to start immediately.

As an HGV Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered a week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility and willingness to work weekends or shifts into the evening or night are preferred.

Entry Requirements:

• Hold a valid driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Have a minimum of 180 days of driving experience within the last 2 years in relevant categories for commercial use.
• No more than 10 infringements over the past 12 months, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
• Check your Digi tacho before assessment to avoid instant failure and be fully comfortable with manual entries on the Digi tacho.
• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Must pass a CRB security check following registration.
