Are you a skilled Class 1 HGV driver with shunting experience looking for a full-time opportunity? Alloga UK is seeking a dedicated and professional Class 1 Driver/Shunter to join our team. This is your chance to play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and driving competency.

Location: AP8 site, Derby, DE21 7HW

Salary & Shifts: £16.25 p/h, 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Start Time 10:00-12:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods promptly and safely, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays or issues.
• Complete documentation accurately, including proof of deliveries and returns.
• Maintain a high level of vehicle cleanliness and road safety, adhering to speed limits and traffic regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and manage secure loading practices.
• Report any risks, incidents, or temperature excursions as they arise.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Skills: Excellent customer care and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Attributes: Smart appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible approach to work.
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 and a sound knowledge of Good Distribution Practice.
