Job description

M4 Specialist are looking for 5T & 7.5T Delivery Drivers for our client in Dartford, Kent.
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity any time after 12 weeks of work.

Our Dartford-based client specialising in food distribution is on the lookout for dedicated professionals to join their team. This is for an Immediate Start.

Key Requirements

1. Full UK license is essential with no more than 6 points
2. UK CPC and Tachograph
3. Multi Drop Experience & Knowledge in the London and surrounding areas
4. Ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods
5. Checking all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
6. Delivering great customer service
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay rate

*£15.68 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Delivering customers’ orders into their premises.
2. Good Customer service and relation.
3. Completing vehicle checks on our client’s Refrigerated vehicles and reporting defects to the fleet controller.
4. Collecting orders from customers and suppliers as needed by the Transport team.
5. Ensure compliance with regulations for a seamless and safe driving experience.
6. Using a PDA scanner to pick customers’ orders.
7. Ensuring your vehicle is clean, tidy, and fuelled up ready for the following day.

Working Schedule

1. Early Morning Starts: Start Times are between 3:30am to 6am
2. Working 40 hours per week with a minimum 8 hours shift per day
3. Working 5 Days Out of 7 (Including working some weekends)

Delivery Locations

* Drops will be in London and surrounding areas.
