Job summary

DPD is hiring a reliable HGV Driver in the United Kingdom to join our national transport team. You will drive a modern fleet, move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, and help keep the country moving with a safety-first approach.

You’ll work Sunday to Thursday with a start window from 18:00 to 21:00, using GPS and digital tachographs to ensure routes are efficient and compliant. We offer a supportive, people-first culture and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries using HGV across the UK.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and tachographs to manage routes and stay fully compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key player in our national transport department, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License:Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience:At least 6 monthsexperience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• The Skillset:Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a "safety-first" mindset.
• The Vibe:You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines whilst delivering great service
