Job description

Permanent, full-time

Operating from Brize Norton and travelling south of the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be required to contribute to ensuring systems are working correctly, identifying root causes, and providing customers with long-term solutions.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:
  • Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, including jetting, drain cleaning, interceptor cleaning and servicing, and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
  • Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
  • Carry out near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
  • Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and further services of the company.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE, and other work items are in good order, repair, and available for use at all times. Report any damage to supervision immediately.
  • Complete all works paperwork and submit it in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
  • Liaise with supervision regarding all works and suggest improvements or opportunities.
  • Perform any other duties you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
