Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks to ensure your HGV Class 1 vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Route Planning: Efficiently plan your routes across the Bristol area, maximising productivity while adhering to schedules.
• Multi-Drop Deliveries: Execute multiple drops per shift, ensuring that deliveries are made promptly and in immaculate condition.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods at various delivery points, ensuring items are palletised and protected during transit.
• Check-In/Check-Out System: Utilise the company’s check-in/check-out system for effective tracking and documentation of deliveries and returns.
• Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected, signed, and filed correctly upon delivery or collection.
• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with store personnel, addressing and resolving any queries or issues professionally and promptly.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including safe handling and transportation of goods.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Minimum of 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid UK CPC and UK Digi Tacho cards.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of EU driving laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
